Can the system automatically generate documents such as CV’s?
Yes. Templates are used to automatically generate documents from the data stored in Placement Partner. A typical example of this is to automatically generate standardised CV’s which can be sent directly to your clients.
Can we store files in the Placement Partner database?
Yes. Placement Partner was designed to store candidate CV files and many other files with each candidate’s and client’s record.
Can anyone on the internet access our database?
No. Placement Partner is password-protected and is hosted on an encrypted secure connection which makes unauthorised access virtually impossible. An unfortunate reality today is that a server, located in your office building, is far more likely to be stolen than someone gaining unauthorised access to your data via a secure connection.Our servers, with your data on, are located in a high-security data center and we keep the location of our servers strictly confidential.
How does the pricing structure work?
Placement Partner is charged on a monthly subscription basis, based on the number of users.
The new interactive HELP Menu
We have completely replaced our HELP menu on Placement Partner with a new, interactive ‘help’. The HELP menu covers each and every section of Placement Partner, so if you are uncertain of how to search the Post Box or create an advert, simply click on HELP for detailed assistance. The HELP menu will “know” which section of the system you are on and will automatically display the information related to that section.
Soon there will also be short video tutorials on the HELP menu so you can see exactly how to use certain areas of the system.
The online HELP Menu is so comprehensive it completely replaces the printed Placement Partner User Manual.

New functionality, new “look & feel”!
Placement Partner has a brand new look! Thanks to the efforts of our Tech Team, the system now boasts a fabulous new look and feel. But because we are “more than just a pretty face”, we have added a whole host of new features!
Look out for these new features and more:
SMS’ing can now be done from anywhere in the system, without being re-directed to the SMS page. Click on a cellphone number, a window will open with the details inserted, type up your SMS and Send!
The Post Box has been added as a source for SMS recipients, making bulk correspondence a synch.
The Quality Database now includes the option to preview a candidate’s original CV and also to see a more comprehensive summary on the candidate, on the search results page.
The font size on Placement Partner is now dynamic and can be adjusted to your preference
Lastly, we are thrilled to launch our new interactive Help Menu. Not only does the Help Menu know what section you require assistance with, but will soon include short video tutorials to help you with the different areas of the system. The Help Menu is very comprehensive and replaces the Placement Partner user manual.

Welcome Bizcommunity!
Placement Partner is delighted to announce that we now offer integration with Bizcommunity, a leading South African industry news site in the advertising, marketing, media, retail, automotive and related sectors. Bizcommunity pays special attention to recruiters by having industry jobs available on their site as well as having a targeted audience pool allowing recruiters to search for good quality applicants and CVs.
Placement Partner users can make the most of this portal by integrating with Bizcommunity through the Placement Partner system. As with all our integrations, this one is also simple and fast to set up and can be done by emailing support@parallel.co.za .
If you are not already making use of Bizcommunity, they have a number of recruiter packages available and currently have a special introductory offer only for Placement Partner users which ends 30 November 2012. Job Mail
We are thrilled to welcome Job Mail, another of South Africa’s leading job portals, now integrated with Placement Partner! Clients can look forward to even more advertising exposure by integrating with Job Mail through the Placement Partner system. This integration is quick and easy to set up and is as simple as dropping us an email on support@parallel.co.za to get the ball rolling.
This service is available to ‘Premium Employer’ clients of Job Mail. If you are not already a ‘Premium Employer’ client of Job Mail, the first step is to speak to a Job Mail representative on 0822369699 or send your details to them via their website.
Once you have signed your Job Mail consent form, the integration will be activated and your adverts can be published on to their website through your Placement Partner system. Candidates can simply respond to these adverts online and their records will go into your Post Box.
Integration with Job Mail through Placement Partner forms part of Placement Partner’s web integration service and is therefore available at no additional cost.
