Some of the most useful improvements to Placement Partner come from seeing how our clients work with the system every day – and where we can make that workflow just a little easier. That’s exactly where our new QDB Split Screen came from. You can now view a candidate’s CV and their Placement Partner profile side by side, making it easier to check, update and complete candidate information without moving back and forth between the CV and their profile.

KEEP THE CV IN FRONT OF YOU WHILE YOU WORK

There are plenty of times when you need to refer back to a candidate’s CV while updating their profile.

Perhaps you’ve just used AI Parse and want to check the information that was captured.
You may need to complete their Sector and Function based on their experience, add information that wasn’t picked up, or simply check that their Placement Partner profile is up to date.
Previously, this meant opening the CV separately and moving back and forth while you worked.

Now, you can keep both in front of you.

IT’S NOT ONLY FOR NEW CANDIDATES

Split Screen is also really useful when working with candidates who are already in your Quality Database.

If an existing candidate sends you a new CV, you can upload and parse it as usual, then use Split Screen to compare their latest CV with the information you already have in Placement Partner.

You can check what has changed, update their classifications and add or amend information while referring directly to their latest CV.

And if you prefer working this way, Placement Partner will remember your choice. Once you switch Split Screen on, it will remain on as you move between candidates. You can toggle it off again whenever you don’t need it.

HOW DO I GET ACCESS?

QDB Split Screen has its own user permission, so a Super User will need to enable it for the relevant Access Levels.

Navigate to:
Settings > System > Basic Tab > Access Levels
Select the Access Level and click Edit.
Under Candidates, enable: View QDB Split Screen

Once enabled, users with that Access Level will see the View Candidate in Split Screen option when working with candidates in the Quality Database. Switch on View Candidate in Split Screen from the top right of the candidate’s profile and their CV will display alongside their Placement Partner information.

It’s a small change inspired by a real recruitment workflow – and one that makes working with your candidate information that much simpler.

Can the system automatically generate documents such as CV’s?

Yes. Templates are used to automatically generate documents from the data stored in Placement Partner. A typical example of this is to automatically generate standardised CV’s which can be sent directly to your clients.

Can we store files in the Placement Partner database?

Yes. Placement Partner was designed to store candidate CV files and many other files with each candidate’s and client’s record.

Can anyone on the internet access our database?

No. Placement Partner is password-protected and is hosted on an encrypted secure connection which makes unauthorised access virtually impossible. An unfortunate reality today is that a server, located in your office building, is far more likely to be stolen than someone gaining unauthorised access to your data via a secure connection.Our servers, with your data on, are located in a high-security data center and we keep the location of our servers strictly confidential.

How does the pricing structure work?

Placement Partner is charged on a monthly subscription basis, based on the number of users.
